Voluntary association of a non-profit nature based in Neapolis, Municipality of Agios Nikolaos, Crete, with the purpose of
volunteering through the Child Protection Branch of Lasithi (former Pedopolis Neapolis).
GOALS
To improve the quality of life of the children hosted at the PPE.
To protect every child who has need for support in order to avoid social stigma.
To provide assistance to children in order to integrate more smoothly into society.
ACTIONS FOR CHILDREN
We organize actions that contribute to the maximum, wherever possible fulfillment of their educational and recreational needs.
We take care of providing them with psychological and emotional support through our network of volunteers, as well as persons
with specialized knowledge.
We cover some of their daily needs (in clothing, footwear, care in general, etc.).
We take care of their school and extracurricular activities.
We organize events with the aim of familiarizing and raising the awareness of the local community with our children, with the
main goal of their smoother integration within the PORII.
We rely on member subscriptions, donations, sponsorships, income from events, Government grants and other legal revenues.
