Neapoli Hospital
Welcome Introduction Dear friends, Taking over with feelings of honour and responsibility the administration of the Neapolis General Hospital - Health Center "DIALYNAKEIO" and having a personal point of reference in Neapolis where I grew up, was educated and we operate as an "active citizen", I felt the need to address both the citizens of the wider region and and to the Hospital staff. First of all, I would like to assure them that every possible effort is being made to upgrade the health services offered and the proper operation of the Hospital. But I am well aware that the needs are many and important and that their coverage requires immediate and targeted actions. On this basis, I commit that at the centre of my actions and actions will always be the human being, whether he is a patient or an employee, since the sensitive field of health is characterized as purely "human-centered". With respect to the history of the Hospital and the place, I consider it my duty to ensure, on the one hand, the dignified, efficient and safe care of patients and, on the other hand, the smooth, fair and transparent operation of the Hospital's services with a view to maximizing the quality of the services provided other and safeguarding the public interest and public financial resources. United, medical, nursing, administrative and other staff should cooperate with consistency and trust, feeling our responsibility towards fellow human beings. Everyone helps, from the position he has been assigned to serve, the highest good, that of health. But ALL TOGETHER we can do better. We don't rest, we don't get complacent. The times are such that call us to rise to the occasion. Today more than ever, it is clear that the protection of health is a universal demand, primary concern and main goal of humanity. Dealing with the pandemic has taught us a lot. By bequeathing the knowledge, experience and additional technical means we obtained, the future seems more optimistic. But from the findings and wishful thinking we should move on to the projects, because what we will ultimately be judged by is our effectiveness. Without a doubt over time what remains are our works and our ethos. Aiming high and honouring the past, let us envision a better future and direct all our strength towards its realization, each of us giving our best to serve our patients, our fellow citizens, our friends, our families. We will always stand NEXT TO EVERY CITIZEN. Deputy Commander Georgios Barbounis
