The Ariadne group of stores is now growing throughout Greece with over 250 stores
but originated on Crete serving mainly Eastern Crete. It does specialize in selling
Cretan products throughout all its stores. Ariadne stores are franchise owned and in a roundabout
way are therefore “locally owned” and operated. We are lucky enough to have two stores;
the owner of the stores lives in Neapoli and
works within the store as the butcher.
